MultiSpool is not free! To obtain your copy of the latest version of it please contact: Giuseppe Carnevale - via Ugo Niutta 36 - 80128 Napoli - ITALY - Phone: +39 81 379320
The Options dialog is the place from where you can control MultiSpool. From here you can see and change what it is doing and what it has to do.
In the two boxes you will see respectively what is currently in printing and what is in the print queue. On each line you will see the number of copies required for that file, the name of the program that spooled it, the name of the file it is a printout and the date and time of creation. Below are some button that lets you control the print queue:
Next
Moves the selected file to the start of the queue so that it will be the next file to be printed. You can also double-click a file to obtain the same effect.
Kill
Deletes permanently the selected file from the queue.
Update
Updates the queue reflecting the changes in the folder named "MultiSpool Folder" in the current System folder. You need to use this only if you moved or deleted files manually using the Finder. In fact if you open the "MultiSpool Folder" you will see a file for each spooled printing, plus the current one. The format of its names is "ProgramName_FileName_Number" but the Number is not in every name. You can so delete them or move them to another folder to print them another day. Don't move the file currently in printing and note that if you remove a file and MultiSpool searches it before you select Update, you will get an error message dialog. It is better to Suspend the printing before making changes in the "MultiSpool Folder" (see below).
Here is a description of the others buttons:
Done
Simply puts you back to what you were doing.
Pause/Continue
Pauses and continues the current printing.
Abort
Deletes the current printing.
Suspend/Resume
When MultiSpool is in a suspended state it will not start printings. Hit Resume to re-enable the printing.
Parms
Brings you to another dialog that lets you change the behaviour of MultiSpool.
